Ways to Volunteer
Each volunteer plays a vital role in what we do and how we serve the 25,000 individuals we visit throughout the season. Our volunteers are deeply committed to the Holiday Express mission – to deliver the gift of human kindness. We are proud that the volunteers who support our work in so many ways are the backbone of our organization. From our warehouse team of workers to our elves at our Season of Giving Events – there are so many ways to join the fun!
No matter how much or how little you give, helping people and knowing that you have an impact on their lives is a really great feeling. You never know where you will find yourself in life, as a giver providing a helping hand or the receiver seeking another’s helping hand. Holiday Express has a wide variety of opportunities to help during our holiday season and throughout the year.
Warehouse volunteer
There are many moving parts that make our workshop run! Join our team and become one of the magical elves tasked with packaging gifts of essential items or driving the truck that deliver them to for our clients, those in our community who need our help.
Event volunteer
Help us host a holiday bash during our Season of Giving at Events. Serve a delicious meal, paint a face, be a costume character, dress up as Santa or Mrs. Claus, dance, and hold the hand of those who might otherwise feel alone during the holidays.
Musicians
Share you time and talent with our community. Join our band and perform live at one of our client events between November 1st through Christmas Eve or one of our fundraising events. Touch the lives of those we serve through the gift of song, movement and dance.
Fundraiser
Be a champion for our cause and help us raise the necessary funds to feed, bestow gifts, and rock out with nearly 27,000 people in our community who need our kind of love during the holiday season. Volunteer to help with our annual fundraising events or host your own fundraiser or drive.
Donor relations
As a Donor Relations Volunteer, you’ll play a vital role in strengthening our connections with supporters who make our mission possible. Help us thank donors, help with fundraising campaigns, assist in donor outreach, and ensure contributors feel appreciated and engaged.
