Message from the Executive Director
“Bringing the Gift of Human Kindness to
Those in Need” is a phrase we use to sum
up what we do. While our volunteers and supporters sing our praises, we still are
referred to as “the best kept secret in town”
by first timers. Our goal is to promote the Holiday Express BRAND.
Branding Holiday Express is an ongoing process and “you” – our loyal supporters –
are our best Brand Ambassadors. Your devotion is very important to convey a clear
and consistent message by providing answers to questions such as: who we are, what we do, how we do it and why should anyone care enough to support us? Not withstanding the economic hard times we are all facing, our commitment to building lasting relationships with clients, volunteers and supporters is
the foundation of Holiday Express. We are committed to managing our organization cost effectively and with oversight from our Board
of Trustees. Over 600 volunteers augment our staff of four. “We” are very passionate about
our mission – “we” focus on helping others –
yet, we understand the value of running a business. Our brand reflects everything about our organization, it is a lot more than a tagline, and it represents the quality of the Holiday Express extended family.
