Event Volunteer
Join us at our events. Come with us to visit the clients we see. Give hugs, smiles, dance, serve food, hand out gift bags or perform other fun activities like face painting or applying temporary tattoos – it is all rewarding.
Warehouse Elves
Help us put together the 15,000+ gift bags we give to our guests during the Holiday Express season, October through Christmas Eve Day.
Warehouse Worker
Do you have muscles and/or like to get dirty? Come help organize our warehouse, load trucks and carry things.
Committee Member – Special Fundraising Events
Clambake
Help produce our biggest fundraiser which takes place in September. We need volunteers to network this event.
- Bring your friends and colleagues – it is a party they will talk about all year
- Secure sponsors – get your business or employer exposure for supporting a charity
- Solicit for our beautiful glossy ad journal
- Get items donated for our silent and live auctions – again, this creates exposure for your company when the label reads “donated by” and your business name is displayed
- Set up and clean up – this event is on the beach and requires a lot of manual labor to make it look spectacular – and then make it look like it never happened

Golf Classic
Help coordinate a golf outing which takes place in July.
Product Acquisition: Help us collect the multitude of items we gift to the people we visit.
Many
of the people we see have little and our gifts to them are essentials
they need, yet we take for granted. Contact suppliers you know and get goods
from their inventory.
Organize a Drive: Assist us by obtaining the many items we put in the gift bags. Schools,
religious organizations, offices, friends, neighbors – it all adds up. For example: a drive for beanie babies or winter scarves.
Office Opportunities:
Stuff envelopes for special mailings – a few times a year we need people to help with our bulk mailings.
Community Opportunities: Spread the message of who we are and what we do. Invite us to speak to your company, community group or any organization that we can educate about our mission.
Donate any special talent or a profession that you excel at and think could benefit us: Fundraising, Website Technical Assistance, Contributing Writers for our website and publications.
Teen Volunteers: After school hours are from 3:30 pm to 5 pm, Monday through Friday.
